- And More!
Let’s jump in …
1) Digital Habits Coaching
For the past few months, I’ve been using AI to augment my personal development journey.
I’ve been taking My Strategy data, including my Purpose, Mission, Identity, Goals, Roles, Relationships, Strengths, and Challenges, along with My Habit data from within the app and asking AI to provide feedback.
And when combined with the right questions, the results have been impressive.
So much so that I decided to build a Digital Habits Coaching experience directly into the app.
The Digital Habits Coach’s first iteration focuses on getting you started on your habits journey.
I’ve used it to plan my goals, identify gaps in my life strategy, and choose, design, and implement habits.
Jump into the app, and let me know what you think!
2) Goal Setting
Another significant enhancement to the app is goal setting.
I have a particular approach to goals (which I will share in a later post) that I have found to be very effective and implemented into the app.
One of the key features is that you can link your Goals with specific Roles, Relationships, Strengths, Challenges and Habits.
When you combine this with the Digital Habits Coaching experience to help craft your goals, you will be well on your way to making 2025 your best year ever!
3) New Awareness Journal
Earlier this year, I rolled out a new awareness journalling experience within the app.
Four journal entries are available: Temperature, Awareness, State and Gratitude.
A) Temperature - I’ve found this entry helpful in regulating my nervous system.
Use the coloured icons to represent your emotional temperature. Blue represents calm and peaceful, Green represents relaxed and ready, Yellow represents anxiety or excitement, Red represents emotionally hijacked, and Purple represents overwhelmed.
B) Awareness - I use this journal entry to notice the impact of various habits on my mind, body and emotions.
Do a quick body scan and notice if your thoughts, physical sensations, and emotional tone are positive, negative or neutral.
I’m currently using this to build awareness of the impact of a few mindless habits on my mind and body.
C) State - This journal entry allows you to log in-depth body scans by selecting tags describing thoughts, body locations, sensations, and context.
I use this to build awareness of what’s happening in my mind and body during peak performance states.
D) Gratitude - A daily gratitude journal entry is a must to offset our built-in negativity bias.
You can also link journal entries with any Goal, Role, Relationship, Strength, Challenge or Habit.
In a future release, I will add the option to have the Digital Coach analyze the attached journal entries to provide more personal feedback.
5) Increased Habit Limit
Everyone using the app receives unlimited Goals, Relationships, Roles, Strengths, Challenges, Lists and Journal Entries.
I’ve increased the habit limit from 1 to 9 so everyone can use the app to its fullest potential without a subscription.
6) Added 7-Day Trial
To experience Digital Habits Coaching and Unlimited Habits, I’ve added a 7-day trial period.
7) And More!
Along with the above and squashing bugs, I’ve removed the clunky onboarding experience (it’s been replaced by the Digital Habits Coaching experience), and you can now customize the Habit Zero Power Bar.
What’s Next
Watch for further updates as I enhance the Digital Coaching experience with deeper Journal Entry Analysis, Goal Integration, and Habit Formation support over the coming months.
It’s been a great 2024, and I’m looking forward to helping you achieve your goals for 2025.
